Job Overview

Monitors supplier audits, resolve supplier escalations and supports strategic sourcing organization in driving incremental performance in supplier quality.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Performance & Development

Drive supplier development initiatives for ACL Sector suppliers to improve quality, delivery, cost, lead time, and service performance.

Monitor supplier performance metrics and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities impacting ACL business continuity and growth.

Support selection and prioritization of suppliers for development programs based on spend, performance, and ACL sector strategic importance.

Manufacturing & Process Excellence

Lead and support supplier manufacturing process improvements using TEOA, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen fundamentals.

Conduct supplier assessments, on‑site workshops, and improvement projects (process capability, productivity, flow, yield) supporting ACL sector requirements.

Develop, track, and close supplier action plans with measurable business impact for the ACL sector.

Cost & Value Creation

Support VA/VE activity, should‑cost, and cost‑reduction initiatives in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing, Engineering, and suppliers.

Improve supplier cost transparency, productivity, and competitiveness to support ACL sector margin and growth objectives.

Compliance & Standards

Ensure supplier compliance with TE standards and applicable industry requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, TE Supplier Code of Conduct).

Support corrective actions related to audits, assessments, and compliance gaps affecting ACL sector supply base.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to align supplier development objectives with ACL sector strategies.

Support project kick‑off meetings, milestone reviews, and management reporting for ACL sector supplier development activities.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Industrial Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.

Experience

5–8 years of experience in manufacturing, supplier quality, supplier development, operations, or related functions.

Experience working with external suppliers in Asia Pacific manufacturing environments.

Knowledge & Skills

Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability

Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools

Ability to work independently at supplier sites

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficient English communication skills (written and verbal)

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
