ROLE OBJECTIVE
The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will support end-to-end RFQ execution through digital platforms (Jaggaer, GEP) for the APAC region. The role focuses on driving efficient sourcing processes, supplier coordination, and supporting commodity managers with quote analysis and Contract-related activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage RFQ process using Jaggaer or similar e-sourcing tools
• Coordinate with suppliers (including Mandarin-speaking suppliers) to ensure timely submission of quotes
• Conduct Competitive Bids, (RFQ packages execution, Negotiation)
• Validate, compare, and summarize supplier quotations
• Support commodity managers in identifying competitive suppliers and best-value offers
• Assist in supplier contract review, documentation, and maintenance (e.g., tracking validity, updates, and compliance requirements)
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness in sourcing systems
• Follow up on RFQ timelines and resolve supplier queries
• Maintain sourcing and contract documentation for audit and compliance
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across APAC region
• Represent procurement with cross functional teams such as engineering, finance, quality, and operations.
QUALIFICATION / EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations
• Experience with e-sourcing platforms (Jaggaer, GEP, Ariba, etc.) preferred
• Basic understanding of supplier contracts and documentation processes
• Proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical and coordination skills
• Good communication skills for supplier and stakeholder interaction
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Experience working with APAC suppliers, especially China region
• Familiarity with contract tracking or contract lifecycle processes
• Ability to manage multiple RFQs and timelines effectively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a matrixed, global environment.
• Ability to effectively coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Adherence to defined processes and sourcing guidelines
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy, governance, and compliance.
