Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.

What your background should look like:

Quality Planning and continuous improvement
1. To define the product quality & process objectives based on customer spec and quality standards, Customer Quality Contract Review.
2. Participate product design review, process design review.
3. Involve CC/SC list, Flow Chart, PFMEA review with CFT,prepare CP, inspection plan, visual aids, MSA and capability study
4. Lead PPAP document preparation and submit PPAP package to customer for approval.
5. Lead safety launch phase activity implementation. Analyze quality issues and coordinate CFT to take actions. Involve program launch, training IPQC, set up inspector.
8. Pre-review the PPAP documents before send to AQ Manager for approval
9. Lead COPQ reduction to reduce production scrap
10 Production quality daily management, deal with process abnormal and drive continuous improvement.
Customer Complaint & Auditor
1.Work with team to continue to reduce customer complaint and customer complaint handling and follow up.
2. Be responsible for customer audit preparation, customer audit and open issue tracking.

1.Bachelor degree Engineering,
2.5 years experience in quality engineering, electronical background is must, Auto experience is prefer,
3.Experience in Quality planning or product design/process design
4.Ability to read/write/speak English
5.Familiar with APQP/PPAP/FMEA/SPC/MSA quality tools and IAT16949/VDA6.3 quality system
6.Aggressive and self-motivated
7.Creative and innovative thinking. Ability to initiate, lead and sustain change Strong data-driven decision-making skills
8.Excellent interpersonal skills, especially communications skills, the ability to influence the behavior of peers
