Job Overview

Take responsible for the planning and execution of project management in Suzhou with the objective of creating project plan and lead the team to achieve the target. Within work with internal count parts like procurement, materials, manufacturing, quality and engineering departments as well as external related players like global PM, R&D, sending team.

Job Requirements

Manage the transfer project

• Set up Project Schedule from Releasing Plant Line Done till Receiving Plant Mass Product restart.
• Build up Project Team including Design, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, MFG Process, Equipment & Key Processes ( Molding, Stamping and Plating )
• Follow up Line Down, Transfer & Line Setup
• Follow up FG Safety Stock Setup, Raw Material transfer ( if has )
• Follow up Pilot Run Process
• Follow up Production Line qualification process
• Follow up Product qualification process
• Follow up operator readiness plan & certification process
• Follow up New MFG Location Capacity Ramp up plan
• Follow up Production Forecast Process Readiness plan
• Set up Project Budget, get Budget approved, follow up and secure Budget
• Hold the regular Project Review Meeting
• Arrange resource, Highlight Project Issues together with providing possible solutions

NPI project management

• Prepares accurate cost analysis, resources requirement estimates on assigned projects
• Form project team at Plant end
• Lead the team on investment budget for mass production
• Lead project team in completing all phase deliverables and activities at Plant ends;
• Take the leadership of the communication for both internal and external relevant players
• Controlling Risks on project management
• Hold the regular review meeting with meeting minutes and documentations
• Trigger the escalation for strongly support which is required from upper management team
• Lead the project closure with lesson learnt.

What your background should look like

Basic requirements

• Bachelor degree in engineering/project management
• 5 years + working experiences with project management position
• Creative on process development and optimization
• High willingness to take the ownership to lead the team with target achievement
• Good communication skill with all count parties
• Patient and active to overcome the tough situation
• Be good at conflict management, particularly for resources and time management
• Manage the multiple tasks in appropriate working methods
• Fluent English
• Be familiar with IATF16949 and can use 5 tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPQP, APQP)

Key requirements (plus)

• Prior transfer project experience, working experience with global team
• Good presentation skill, particularly for presentation to upper management team
• Willingness to accept the biz trip
• Good business acumen and engineering knowledge
• Excellent logic to lead the team for problem solving
• Positive influence to others from leadership’s perspective
• Be good at IATF16949 tools, SPC/MSA/FMEA/PPAP/APQP
