Job Scope
Overview / Purpose of the Job The logistic Analyst role is support DDN BU logistic data analysis. Drive logistic operation visualization, information & digitalization, support BU logistic operation by lean analysist, continue drive logistic performance improvement
Responsibilities:
Logistics Analysis & Reporting
• Coordinate with Finance and internal Logistics / FAP organization to analysis Logistics Cost, provide guideline of uplift cost % and identify areas to be improved
• Coordinate internally to populate reports for Cross Company & VMI hub programs and Productivity tracking reports
• Work with internal data analytics team to develop dashboards to automate existing manual reports by using approved BI tool
Project Management
• Define annual logistic saving project, keep trace KPI trend
• Organize project team to support from different function, and setup sound methodology, drive good result
Logistics Transformation Initiatives support
• Support other Logistics Transformation Initiatives when necessary
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operation Management, Statistics or related field
3+ years working experience in Logistics function
Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills: Advanced knowledge for coding skill (like Python/ SOL), experience with BI tooling and Excel skill, ERP system knowledge is advantage (SAP preferred)
Other important things to note: Experience in Regional and Global Role, understand cross-region culture with smooth and effective communication
Job Requirements
- Analyzing logistics plans and identifying opportunities for distribution quality improvement.
- Taking effective measures to reduce transportation expenses by generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs and carrier performance.
- Helping optimize shipments between distribution centers and customers and facilitate communication of transportation operations between carriers, suppliers and partners.
- Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.
What your background should look like
Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
