Job Overview

Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc. in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures. Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency

What your background should look like:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
▪        Be responsible GL and FA functions for middle-size legal entity
▪        Prepare manual GL journal entries, review system generated journal entries and propose adjustment if necessary
▪        Perform month-end closing activities, including closing checklist preparation, posting periods maintenance, and GL closing
▪        Generate and review TB, BS and P&L, prepare financial reports including statutory reports, Hyperion reports, etc.
▪        Coordinate and perform monthly accounts reconciliation, follow up to resolve variances
▪        Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required
▪        Prepare SOX documentation on GL related functions in order to ensure the documents represent the company's existing situation; and implement an action plan to address the SOX findings in order to ensure compliance with SOX regulations and other Corporate policies
▪        Provide support in external and internal audits
▪        Assist GL Supervisor to identify potential areas for improvement, support the implementation of the initiatives in order to drive continuous optimization

REQUIREMENTS
▪        College degree or above, majoring in accounting, finance or a related field
▪        More than 3 years’ working experience in GL, experience in multi-national company or shared service environment is preferred
▪        Good knowledge of US GAAP, PRC accounting standards and related statutory regulations 
▪        Good communication (written and oral) skills in both English and Mandarin
▪        Proficient in MS Office, SAP and Hyperion system experience is preferred
▪        Integrity, accountability, proactive working attitude, customer-oriented, self-motivated, ability to work under pressure
