Job Overview

The SUPV II MAINTENANCE [Molding] is responsible for leading and controlling all molding maintenance activities to ensure the reliability, readiness, and performance of molding machines and molds within the production environment. This role oversees preventive maintenance execution, mold condition management, shot-count control, downtime recovery, and maintenance governance to support production continuity, quality performance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead preventive and corrective maintenance for molding machines and molds.
  • Ensure machine and mold readiness before production start-up.
  • Control mold PM, shot-count tracking, and mold life management.
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and drive timely recovery actions.
  • Investigate recurring downtime and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain maintenance records, mold history, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Tool Shop teams to resolve issues.
  • Support new mold introduction, machine installation, and production ramp-up activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements, including LOTO procedures.
  • Manage mold spare parts, tooling readiness, and preventive maintenance plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Provide guidance and support to maintenance technicians.

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance of molding machines, molds, or manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of injection molding equipment, mold maintenance, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Proven experience in supervising technicians or leading maintenance activities
  • Experience troubleshooting machine, mold, and process-related issues in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of mold PM, shot-count control, mold life management, and equipment reliability programs.
  • Familiarity with LOTO, machine safety standards, and maintenance safety procedures.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Tool Shop teams.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
