Job Description: 

Job Overview

Supervises the planning, scheduling, setting up, and running of routine and production streams.

Responsibilities

  • Planning & finalizing monthly, weekly dispatch quantities in line with customer demands in co-ordination with PPC.
  • Ensuring optimum and effective utilization of all allocated resources on monthly, weekly and daily basis.
  • Ensuring plant efficiency & plant recovery targets.
  • Ensuring accident-free work conditions
  • Deployment & ensuring adherence to all Quality Management Targets in line with corporate and unit level targets.
  • Ensuring and promoting good industrial relationships across the unit.
  • Ensuring optimum layout planning for any new projects or any changes in the existing required if any.
  • Closely coordinating with other departments like SCM, PE, QA, HR to ensure smooth running of all production-related activities.
  • Should have experience in mass production.
  • Finalizing the resources required for the month depending on the agreed quantities in line with standard calculations & act accordingly.
  • Verifying the labor timings & investment related to the new projects & start & execute the development activities accordingly after PPAP approval

Education and Knowledge

  • BE/ B. Tech (Electronics, Mechanical)

Critical Experience

  • 2 – 3 years of experience as a production supervisor or similar role
  • Candidates with experience from Connector Industries are preferable
