Job Description:

Job Overview

The Global Supply Chain Strategy Analyst supports the design, development, and execution of global supply chain strategies aimed at improving resilience, efficiency, cost, and service performance across regions. The role operates in a global, cross regional environment, working closely with regional supply chain teams, procurement, logistics, finance, and digital / analytics teams.
A core element of the role is the use of advanced and prescriptive analytics to move from insight to action—supporting data driven, scenario based decisions and enabling consistent, scalable execution of supply chain strategies across the organization.

Roles & Responsibility:

Global Supply Chain Strategy & Analysis:

Support the development and refinement of global supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives, including cost optimization, service improvement, resilience, and risk mitigation.
Perform end to end supply chain analyses (inventory, capacity, lead times, supplier performance, network flows) to identify structural improvement opportunities.
Develop business cases, strategic options, and scenario analyses to support leadership decision making.

Prescriptive Analytics & Decision Support:

Apply prescriptive analytics to translate complex supply chain data into prioritized, actionable recommendations, moving beyond descriptive and diagnostic reporting.
Support the design and rollout of decision support tools (e.g. prescriptive analytics platforms, Supplier 360 views, scenario engines) that recommend actions such as inventory rebalancing, MOQ and lead time optimization, capacity adjustments, and risk mitigation.
Contribute to the development of rules based and model driven logic that identifies high impact actions using multiple triggers (demand volatility, inventory thresholds, supplier constraints, lead time variability).
Partner with digital, IT, and analytics teams to ensure prescriptive models are embedded into global processes, enabling closed loop execution, traceability of decisions, and measurable outcomes.
Use scenario simulations to evaluate tradeoffs between cost, service, and risk, and present clear recommendations to global and regional stakeholders.

Transformation & Strategic Projects:

Contribute to global supply chain transformation initiatives, including process harmonization, system deployments, and operating model evolution.
Support project management activities such as milestone tracking, dependency management, risk identification, and benefits realization tracking.
Help develop global standards, playbooks, and governance frameworks to ensure scalable and consistent execution. Serve as talent enabler by sharing knowledge through employee and user training, including external parties.

Cross Regional & Cross Functional Collaboration:

Act as a bridge between global strategy and regional execution, ensuring regional needs and constraints are reflected in global solutions.
Collaborate closely with procurement, planning, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and digital teams.
Support alignment across time zones and cultures in a global operating model.

Data, Reporting & Performance Management

Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI frameworks to track strategic performance, transformation progress, and adopt prescriptive tools.
Translate analytical outputs into clear narratives and insights for senior leadership.
Support continuous improvement through performance tracking and feedback loops.

Risk & Resilience Support

Support the identification and assessment of supply chain risks (supplier dependency, capacity constraints, logistics disruptions).
Contribute to mitigation strategies and contingency planning to strengthen supply chain resilience

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Preferred certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt, APICS CSCP, CTSC, PMP, or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years in Business Analytics, Operations, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong background in upstream supply chain strategy, supplier planning, and system integration.
  • Exposure to end to end supply chain processes (planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, S&OP / IBP)
