Sets up machine tools, fabricates, assembles, maintains, and tests machinery and equipment for experimental purposes as per the established machining procedures.
Job Requirements
- Performing the quality checks for the finished products to ensure that the specified quality standards are met, documenting the defects, and identifying the root cause in case of common occurrence.
- Interpreting blueprints and other design documents to develop prototype models, creating toolpaths from models, and performing audits to ensure all the necessary parts are available to build, repair and test.
- Fabricating prototype level components according to specifications to support product development from ideation to product introduction and establishing machining processes for prototype components.
- Monitoring preventive maintenance of the machines and equipment through calibration and ensuring routine service in compliance with established guidelines.
What your background should look like
Educational Degree
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Two-Year Technical Degree in Plastic or Mechanical discipline(Preferred)
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Plastics Processing (Injection Molding) within the automotive industry
- Basic knowledge in Mechanics
