Job Overview

The Sr.Project Manager Engineer is responsible for leading and managing projects throughout the full product lifecycle, from project initiation and new product introduction (NPI) to production ramp-up and customer shipment. This role serves as the key Operations representative, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality, safety, capacity, and business objectives.

The successful candidate will drive project execution, coordinate stakeholders across functions, manage resources and risks, and support product transfer and capacity expansion initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and a solid understanding of manufacturing operations to ensure successful project delivery and operational readiness.

 

Job Requirements

  • Lead and manage projects throughout the full lifecycle, from planning and development through product launch and customer shipment.
  • Align project objectives, scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and key milestones to ensure successful project execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and drive the timely completion of project activities.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Manage project resources, including capacity, materials, equipment, and manpower requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication, decision-making, and issue resolution.
  • Support budget planning and cost management to ensure projects meet financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and company standards throughout project execution.
  • Lead new product introduction (NPI), product transfer, and production ramp-up activities to support operational readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project performance, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
 

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in a project management leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing projects throughout the full product lifecycle, from NPI to production ramp-up and mass production.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with stakeholders across different functions and levels.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and operational excellence principles.
  • Experience leading product transfer and capacity expansion projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and resources effectively.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
