Job Overview

The [SIOP Supply Chain Manager] will be responsible for running an effective action-oriented, decision-making S&OP process with facilitation of data entry and updates in IBP. The role functions as a key liaison between various stakeholders to drive consensus on decisions to balance supply and demand aligning to business strategy and financial goals.

Materials Planning
•    Analyze incoming demand signals to generate an optimized build plan while ensuring effective communication across extended supply chain, manufacturing
•    Lead the MPS function to optimize the production plan with the aim to support customer demand, optimize production utilization and balancing inventory in a targeted manner
•    Work with the procurement and production teams to ensure timely procurement and manufacturing schedules based on demand and inventory requirements
•    Lead the Material Planning team ensuring implementation of production plan of work centers, machines, or processes to meet customer requests
•    Monitor MRP system setup, identify constraints and proactively drive capacity
•    Ensure appropriate parameter settings, system settings and system usage
Sales Inventory Operations Planning & Execution
•    Develop strategies to improve production planning, procurement, and logistics processes.
•    Deploy and orchestrate long term planning S&OP process by plant and region. Install effective execution review, SOE process, to bridge short term actions back to business strategy.
•    Ensure successful execution of S&OP process cycle to achieve process objectives across key areas – finance, end-to-end supply chain, customer, team and stakeholder engagement
•    Generate information and key data points to frame a cross-functional perspective for decision makers in the organization through the S&OP process
•    Prepare Monthly SOE reports tracking demand firming, Golden KPIs, and supply attainment.
•    Identify demand risks and highlight to sales and Demand Planning. 
•    Dollarize the impact of misses weekly to our Inventory, Past Dues. Project STR impact of constraints. 
•    Collaborate with Analytics team to further improve currency and billings forecasting within the 0-13 month range. 
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new information and key factors to consider as we iterate and grow the SOP and SOE processes. 
•    Stay updated on both short and long-term business goals, financial targets, industry trends, best practices, and barriers impacting the business and utilizing the information to align effectively with ops, sales, and demand management.
•    Highlight opportunities and lead data enrichment practices to improve quality and reliability of both supply and demand data.
•    Continuously analyze supply chain performance and identify opportunities for improvement in lead times, costs, and efficiencies.
•    Implement and oversee corrective actions when supply chain disruptions or delays occur and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions and ensure continuity of supply
 

What your background should look like:

Educational Degree    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Professional Experience        (years in what processes and function)    SAP (or other ERP software) – 1-2 years
SAP Integrated Business Planning software (or other demand planning software) – 1-2 years
Understanding of MRP – 1-2 years
Planning and experience in Demand Forecasting – 1-2 years 

Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills  

Experience with data management, reporting, and analysis using tools at least using Excel XLOOKUP and Pivot function, better if with experience on Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, or other automation tools

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Needs to be detail-oriented with given importance to accuracy
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional global teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and following drumbeats and deadlines effectively.
  • Lean six-sigma certification (desirable)

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $123,000– 184,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
