Job Overview
- Drive the implementation of the global HR Shared Services strategy in APAC, with defined services catalogue, tiered service accountability model, remote regional hub and local on‑site service delivery, clear RACI across HR functions.
- Own defined HR services end‑to‑end, including demand intake, service design, delivery, controls, performance management, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate service delivery using standard shared services metrics (e.g. SLA, turnaround time, backlog, productivity, quality), ensuring adherence to agreed service levels and excellent customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with HR stakeholders to lead HR service transitions from countries and sites into Shared Services, with knowledge transfer, process standardization, stabilization, post‑transition optimization.
- Drive productivity improvement and cost optimization through standard work, automation, scope consolidation, and regional standardization initiatives.
- Partner with HR Technology to enable and enhance workflow optimization, Self‑service adoption, case management effectiveness, RPA and other automation opportunities across HR operations.
- Manage team resources and capacity planning to align with changing business demand, ensuring flexible, proactive, and scalable service delivery.
- Proactively develop talent and leadership capability within the team, fostering engagement, a growth mindset, and a sustainable talent pipeline with clear career paths.
- Contribute to global HR Shared Services initiatives and governance forums, representing APAC perspectives while adopting global best practices and frameworks.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and internal service partners, ensuring clear performance governance, accountability, risk management, and service integration.
What your background should look like:
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred
- Typically requires 15+ years of HR shared services experience or HR Operation, preferred in large multinational organization with SSC model
- Typically requires 10+ years of people management experience with demonstrate strong people leader
- Proven ability to think strategically with a long‑term vision while executing effectively at an operational level.
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills in a highly matrixed organization.
- Ability to work independently with strong problem‑solving capability and a proactive, can‑do mindset.
- Fluent written and spoken English required; Japanese, Korean, or Thai language capability is a plus.
