Job Overview

Responsible for providing financial support and performance analysis to the global/regional operations and plant management teams. The role requires an exceptional business partner to drive organizational success through the development and execution of financial strategies. Key responsibilities include managing a team of operational financial analysts/plant controllers, consolidation and analysis of actual results/forecasts/budgets, conducting monthly plant reviews, product/conversion/material productivity analysis, driving freight/inventory reductions, and supporting capital investments. The position also requires coordination with the regional/global BU supply chain team.

Overview:

This position will assist the Global Operation Finance Director oversee all financial activities for Energy BU global operation including 7 manufacturing facilities and trading companies in supporting of $900M business and   responsible for managing the complete, accurate and timely processing of transactions through the Company's accounting systems in accordance with US GAAP. This position reports to the Op Finance Director and will supervise/collaborate with a global team of finance employees located across US/EMEA/ASIA regions and will work closely with global operation team and other functions within Energy and other BU.


Key Responsibilities
•    Partner with the Operations and Regional Op finance team to drive productivities and manage inventory risk.
•    Perform consolidation of operational financial results on an ongoing basis and complete review, reconciliation, and analysis.  Provide recommendations for corrective actions and opportunities for improvement to management.
•    Partner with Operations to lead and responsible for footprint migration, consolidation, and expansion activities to optimize current manufacturing and supply chain capability.
•    Participate in the completion of the strategic plan, annual budget process and re-cost cycle.
•    Drive operation strategic plan (capacity and resources planning) align with business long term growth. 
•    Lead operation budget planning and forecasting; review/monitor operation activities against budget ensure results achieve financial targets and business KPI.
•    Responsible for Global Operations finance policies and ensure appropriate levels of financial controls across global operations in compliance with US GAAP, PRC GAAP for China entities and SOX requirements. 
•    Drive improvement of SAP reporting throughout the operations organization.
•    Manage and develop a team of finance analysts globally

Required/Preferred Experience
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business, MBA or CPA a plus.
•    10+ years’ experience in regional operations finance accounting with a minimum of 5 years of management experience.
•    Global span, ability to manage globally and cross culturally
•    Strong understanding of standard cost and forecasting/budgeting processes.
•    Account recognition and financial controls experience.
•    Highly skilled SAP and Excel user – Hyperion, database and/ or data warehouse experience a plus.
•    Independent problem solver with good organizational and planning skills.
•    Strong oral and written communications skills.
•    Ability to effectively and efficiently use PowerPoint for presentations
•    Must take initiative, be assertive & agile, and have a high level of engagement
•    30% anticipated travel (domestic & international)
