Job Overview

The EMEA Continuous Improvement & Maintenance (Sr) Manager will be responsible to implement and deploy Maintenance  Lean tools around EMEA sites, he/she has also to create manage and coordinate a strong EMEA Maintenance network, supporting, coaching local teams, and leading transfunctional maintenance workshops together with site maintenance teams, following and accomplishing within TEOA standards and executing TEOA EMEA strategic plan, focused on maintenace development.
He also has to be aligned with EMEA  functions and link and drive TEOA activities consierating all the Value Stream, End to End.

What your background should look like:

  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience with focus on equipment care / maintenance, production, and financial knowledge.
  • At least 5 years experience in leading continuous improvement maintenance (TPM) activities on regional / site level (Lean Leader or similar function).
  • Capacity for creating and managing a technical maintenance network.
  • Extensive hands-on and practical experience in equipment care, TPM deployment.
  • Credibility and experience to work effectively and directly with the senior on-site leadership team and site TEOA leader.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills at all levels from the shop floor to top management (Strong team leader)
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically (i.e. deliver results)
  • Strong project management skills, flow (physical vs economical) detailed understanding.
  • Analytically minded and data-driven. The candidate must also have a holistic overview of complex situations and deal effectively with difficult issues when they arise. 
  • Experience in the automotive industry is well considered and a prerequisite if external hiring.
