Job Overview

To ensure mass production projects meet manufacturing requirements, achieve on-time delivery, maintain orderly daily production operations, and improve production efficiency — all under the supervision of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, by analyzing and resolving production engineering issues.


Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

New Projects To ensure mass production projects meet manufacturing requirements and achieve on-time delivery:

  1. Use ZWCAD and Creo to complete the design and improvement of assembly equipment for mass production extended PNs, as well as FSR sample fabrication and submission for inspection;
  2. Follow up on prototype development and business expansion for mass production extended P/Ns, including external sample requests;
  3. Guide technicians in the commissioning of assembly equipment and prototype fabrication;
  4. Implement proper safety protection measures and comply with company EHS standards and requirements.

Production Issue Resolution To ensure normal daily production operations, reduce scrap, and minimize downtime:

  1. Track and analyze production engineering issues, and provide solutions along with 2D/3D drawings;
  2. Guide technicians in resolving production engineering issues;
  3. Collaborate with QE to address customer quality complaints.

Production Process Improvement To improve production efficiency and reduce costs:

  1. Identify improvement opportunities, develop improvement plans, produce 2D/3D drawings, and implement improvement actions in collaboration with relevant departments;
  2. Communicate with ECO in a timely manner regarding product design improvements.

Production Equipment Maintenance and Upkeep To ensure the proper operation and safety of production equipment and tooling:

  1. Develop maintenance, upkeep, and overhaul plans for equipment and tooling, and supervise technicians in their execution;
  2. Inspect safety protection devices on equipment and comply with company EHS standards and requirements.

Production Documentation Preparation and Management To ensure production documentation is complete and up to date:

    1. Write and update engineering documents (e.g., work instructions, production flowcharts, FMEA, etc.);
    2. Follow up on and execute engineering changes.

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Proficient in CAD and Creo
  • Major in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
