Summary

Lead the global Supplier Quality organization to ensure supplied materials, components, and services consistently meet TE quality, reliability, regulatory, and customer requirements. Develop and execute the supplier quality strategy aligned with business growth, operational excellence, risk reduction, and cost competitiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and driving the supplier quality strategy aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Developing and managing the supplier quality budget and resource allocation.
  • Leading cross-functional teams in problem resolution and process improvement initiatives.Other Attributes
  • Partner with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, and Customer Quality functions.
  • Build and develop a high-performing global SQE organization.

  Supplier Quality Management

  • Own supplier qualification and approval processes.
  • Lead supplier audits, surveillance activities, and capability assessments.
  • Establish supplier scorecards and performance review processes.
  • Drive corrective actions and supplier development initiatives.
  • Ensure robust APQP, PPAP, Safe Launch, and supplier validation processes where applicable.

  Risk & Performance Management

  • Monitor supplier quality, delivery, sustainability, compliance, and operational risks.
  • Lead escalation management for critical supplier quality issues.
  • Implement preventive quality systems that reduce defects and field failures.
  • Drive zero-defect and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Minimize production disruptions caused by supplier quality issues.
  • Improve supplier quality performance while reducing COPQ and warranty exposure.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• Requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Masters with 10 or more years of experience in SQE role
• Strong experience with electronic, automotive, industrial, aerospace, medical, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.Thrives in matrixed, highly collaborative environments supporting multiple markets, organizations, and sites
• Motivated, self-driven, positive approach to consensus building, problem solving, and change management
• Proficiency with ERP systems, business intelligence applications, data mining and analysis

• Location: Europe - remote
• Travel Requirements: Up to 20% (domestic and international)
