Senior ServiceNow Architect (m/f/d)

Job Overview

TE Connectivity is looking to hire a Senior ServiceNow Architect (m/f/d) within its global ITSM Solutions team. We operate Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge, IT Asset, Configuration Management and Request Fulfillment processes. All processes are closely aligned with ITIL and the "Service Now out of the box" functionalities. 

What you will be doing

  • Create and manage the strategies and roadmap for the enterprise-wide ServiceNow cloud instance, embedding the goals into the company's IT and business strategy
  • Provide expertise on the ServiceNow platform and integration design
  • Communicate technical aspects and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Evaluate ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules/applications and propose technical recommendations/solutions based on industry best practices
  • Maintain documentation of overall ServiceNow strategy and roadmap and ServiceNow instance governance
  • Evaluate new and existing system integrations and apply industry best practices for error handling, performance optimization, and overall security compliance 
  • Key role in ServiceNow upgrades to ensure there is no business impact
  • Drive ITIL processes and ServiceNow out-of-the-box solutions

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field, such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • More than 7 years of IT experience with at least 5 years of ServiceNow experience working on ITSM, CMDB and ITOM processes.
  • Strong experience with configuration and development on the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience in application design, infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networks, and distributed systems
  • ServiceNow certification (preferably ServiceNow Implementation Specialist) as well as certification in ITIL v3/V4 basics desirable
  • Practical experience with agile methods/tools
  • Very good written and oral communication skills in English and German
