Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.

Your tasks

  • Creation of master data (parts lists, routings, etc.) in SAP R/3
  • Maintenance of existing production and cost-relevant master data in SAP
  • Creation of reports to ensure the quality of master data
  • Monitoring and checking process flows and cost breakdowns of various products
  • Interface between product costing and the production areas
  • Assumption of general tasks in the area of product costing
  • Evaluation and reporting of cost saving projects
  • Capacity analyses
  • Efficiency analyses
  • Creation and management of WBS elements
  • Ad-hoc analyses

Ihr Profil

  • Completed commercial or technical training
  • Understanding of product cost calculation
  • Experience with master data entry and maintenance is desirable
  • Team player with good analytical skills
  • Experience with the SAP R/3 modules MM and PP and very good knowledge of Excel
  • Good written and spoken English and German communication skills
