Job Overview

Manages a Large Portfolio of Projects/Programs related to defined focus application areas of our Key/Strategic Customer (G)KAMs

  • Be the champion of the assigned project portfolio and drive project launch success through ensuring the right projects at the right time in line with the strategic roadmap
  • Defines and manage operational strategy for the assigned portfolio of projects/programs
  • Manages Projects/Program of defined key growth areas
  • Oversees projects related to assigned portfolio but managed by other project managers
  • Drives financial/operational results of the assigned projects/program
  • Devise strategies to improve time-to-market, time-to-volume and superior financial results
  • Initiate and conduct peer reviews for the assigned projects at risk and partner with appropriate functions and customers to take appropriate actions.
  • Projects/Program of a key customer requiring special tactics that can stretch across BUs

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or another related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing complex projects in a global setting
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
  • Overall responsibility for planning and managing assigned projects/program and customers
  • Applies advanced skill and performance to the oversight of multiple projects to achieve strategic goals through new product delivery and management of the product life cycle for key program and products.
  • Manages risk and compliance across the project portfolio
  • Collaborate with marketing department on product placement initiatives.
  • Interacts with executives and key external contacts.
  • Responsible for enabling a high performing team which will deliver on business vision and objectives
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in PMO, Lifecycle and business processes
  • Provides regular health checks of the portfolio to all the stakeholders and routinely communicates project goals, status, requirements, and deliverables to the key stakeholders
  • Works closely with customers, sales, product management, manufacturing, procurement and suppliers to drive project efficiencies.
  • Directs Core Team project activities and resolves conflicts & issues
  • Act as a link between all disciplines involved in defining & executing our growth strategy and must be able to manage technical and commercial topics and teams
  • Ability to lead global cross functional teams
  • Solid understanding in managing project plans
  • Plan & Lead Stage Gate reviews to (senior) business management
