Role Statement :
As an NPI Procurement Sourcing Analyst, you will play a critical role in the introduction of new products by managing the procurement and sourcing activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and components necessary for new product development and launch.
Key Responsibilities/Objectives
1. Sourcing and Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for new product components and materials. Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure the best value and quality. Responsible for RFQ includes components, commercial tooling (Both Build/Run & Build/Transfer), Die-Casting, Machining, Plating, Electronics, Raw materials like Metals, Resins etc. Ensure Bidder list is aligned with strategic sourcing team/Commodity team.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to understand product requirements and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
3. Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to support sourcing decisions. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to achieve cost targets.
4. Project Management: Manage procurement activities for new product introduction projects. Track progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to meet project timelines
5. Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with TE company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
6. Support site departments (E.g. PM, ME) to launch NPI and transition programs.
7. Ensure accuracy and maintain the Info Record and Source List data in alignment with MRP parameters, incl. MOQ, Price, and LT.
Key Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
8. Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
9. Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment. NPI sourcing experience is a plus.
10. Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in matrix environment
11. Solid knowledge of plastic molding, stamping and plating product is advantage
12. Customer focus and continuous improvement attitude
13. Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
14. Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
15. Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
16. Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
17. Fluent in English and Mandarin both in written and spoken
18. The ideal candidate will be proactive, capable of working independently, and able to manage tasks without supervision.
