Position Overview: Mfg & Process Dvl Engineer is based in TE SHZN office. In this role you will participate in design and analyze engineering process of sensor to ensure manufacturing line setup and transition to serial production smoothly.

• Process development and qualification improvement;
• Potential process owner for dedicated process, to be a process expert;
• Support continuous improvement for existing production line, and cost improvement;
• Select process technology and develop it;
• Design/Prototype toolings and fixtures and does qualification, perform mechanical worst case calculation
• Prototype process documents preparation;
• Study the feasibility of new production, in-collaboration with Manufacturing engineering, process risk assessment;
• Contribute in process technology innovation;
• Define platform standards for manufacturing process technologies;
• Other tasks which supervisor request.

• Bachelor degree in Engineering science - mechanical engineering background, engineering mechanics or related disciplines;
• 3-5 years worked experience for process development, ideally automotive industry;
• Have statistic data analysis, DOE for process analysis and improvement, GB/BB is Plus
• Assembly process technology, tooling / fixture and line layout setup skills;
• Understand soldering,  assembly technology and familiar with IATF-16949 is preferred;
• Proficient in MS-office software, Minitab. Advanced Solidworks preferred;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Good at English language ability in reading, writing and speaking.

They act as the binding element between product development and manufacturing engineering, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of this critical interface. They support Product Development in the optimization of designs and piece parts for manufacturability by realizing sample tooling/products/prototypes. They also design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE quality and production standards, document all processes and tooling in applicable TE systems, support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability, initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, cost and cycle time and adhere to all appropriate specifications, regulatory requirements and customer requirements.
