Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Traffic Administration Teams are responsible for the coordination and consolidation of domestic and international systems to support shipments. They ensure lowest cost transportation is used by analyzing company and customer needs, researching transportation methods, and auditing carrier costs and performance. They also interpret laws, rules, and regulations regarding shipping and prepares applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.

What your background should look like:

Accountable for logistics data analysis and reporting on various freight spending and business review, focused on re-engineered supply chain opportunities, cost improvement and operational efficiencies. Assist Global logistic director and products leaders to optimize the TE supply chain performance, promote logistics agility and resilience under dynamic macro environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
•    Extract data from various databases and systems to perform exploratory data analysis
•    Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools
•    Assists in the preparation and execution of meetings with the various stakeholders on different level
•    Support the various Business Units of the company in identifying and interpreting market trends, spending insight, root causes, variances and cost saving opportunities associated with their specific performance data
•    Support freight budget compiling and regular review 
•    Support logistic system/data upgrade and migration
•    Collaborate with associates to improve logistics efficiency, productivity and processes.
•    Meet with business unit management and staff to review new business/project, and propose re-engineered business process, analyze feasibility of projects and critical success criteria
•    Collaborate with IT to develop, define, and document technical systems and operational requirements and critical success criteria.
•    Keep abreast of emerging technology changes and innovations through formal or informal workshop, newsletter or industry publications. 
•    Solid hands-on experience on international and domestic freight
•    Ability to write reports, business correspondence and presentation 
•    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.  
•    Good communication and negotiation skills

Qualifications – Education
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
•    MBA is a plus

•    Minimum 8 years’ experience in 3PL, forwarding industry or electronics industry.
•    Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics analyst or pricing or market intelligence analyst role or similar roles 
•    Experience with data analysis tool is a must
•    Account management experience is preferred
•    Experience with advanced freight/Warehouse management technology is a plus
