Job Requirements

Position Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Tax Manager to join the APAC Controlling team. This role will partner closely with APAC Finance, Regional Tax, local finance teams, external advisors, and tax authorities to drive tax compliance excellence, process improvement, and tax governance across the region.
The ideal candidate combines strong tax technical expertise with attention to detail, resilience, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to simplify complex tax matters into practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
•Lead APAC corporate income tax compliance processes, ensuring timely and high-quality filings.
•Identify compliance risks, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for standardization and improvement.
•Develop scalable tax processes, controls, and governance frameworks across APAC.
•Partner with local finance teams, tax authorities, and external advisors to resolve tax matters, audits, and inquiries.
•Manage relationships with third-party service providers and monitor service quality.
•Translate complex tax requirements into practical guidance, decision trees, and process documentation.
•Provide tax support and training to finance teams across the region.
•Drive tax-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of corporate tax, tax compliance, or tax advisory experience, preferably within a multinational environment.
•Strong technical knowledge of corporate income tax and tax compliance.
•Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders across countries and functions.
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
•Hands-on approach with willingness to understand processes from the ground up.
•Strong ownership mindset and "Can Do" attitude.
•Resilient, adaptable, and able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
•Proven ability to simplify complex tax concepts into clear and actionable guidance.
•Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

They are able to simplify complex tax requirements, drive operational improvements, influence stakeholders across APAC, and enhance tax compliance and governance through practical and scalable solutions.

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
