Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to determine opportunities, develops value proposition, positions the product or portfolio, and conducts targeted promotion to realize revenue goals.

Job Requirements

Key responsibilities include:
•    Collaboratively with BD and strategy team, lead “where to play” and “how to win” choices to drive growth, improve profitability, and sustain competitive advantage regionally
•    Analyze industry structure, competitive dynamics, and market attractiveness and its likely evolution to inform AFG (Application focused Growth) strategy development
•    Implement in APAC region the AFG global initiatives
•    Create analytical models to address key business questions and translate output into clear stories
•    Lead cross-functional teams to solve business problems and ensure projects execution using a hands-on hypothesis-driven approach:
ꟷ    Lead from the front by taking on complex workstreams and providing though guidance
ꟷ    Guide and coach project team members in using a hypothesis-driven approach
ꟷ    Manage projects and develop deliverables and executive presentations
ꟷ    Frame discussion of findings and recommendations
ꟷ    Assess organic and inorganic opportunities on multiple dimensions
•    Advise SBD leadership on selecting the most attractive opportunities and acquisition targets to strengthen product portfolio and go-to-market capabilities

Success in the role requires business acumen and a strategic mindset, exceptional communication and presentation skills, the ability to work seamlessly with stakeholders at multiple levels in the organization, an ability to managing teams and leading projects from start to end, and the skills and tenacity to achieve results through influence and enthusiasm.

Professional experience
•    3 years or more of management consulting experience post graduate degree preferred 
•    2 years or more of experience working in corporate strategy for an industrial company preferred
•    Experience on Channel business preferred
•    Experience dealing with strategic business issues (e.g. industry structure, operations strategy & finance)
•    Ability to structure and solve complex problems using a hypothesis-driven approach
•    Ability to understand the big picture and prioritize key initiatives. 
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills – able to synthesize and communicate key messages

Education 
•    Undergraduate and graduate degrees
•    MBA degree is highly valuable 
•    Problem solving, analytics, project management, and communications skills
•    Expertise in strategic planning and in implementing strategy within a complex organization

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
