Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing and Process Development Engineering Teams significantly impact LEANPD driven new product development projects, driving for excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods and striving to implement new manufacturing technologies to provide improved process and tolerance control. They act as the binding element between product development and manufacturing engineering, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of this critical interface. They support Product Development in the optimization of designs and piece parts for manufacturability by realizing sample tooling/products/prototypes. They also design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE quality and production standards, document all processes and tooling in applicable TE systems, support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability, initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, cost and cycle time and adhere to all appropriate specifications, regulatory requirements and customer requirements.

What your background should look like:

1.Responsible for common failure cases analysis of connector: Discoloration, Crack, Burnt, LLCR too big, Contamination, solderability, Crimping, Oxide, etc;
2.Responsible for connector competitive sample analysis: Material, Plating, Craft, Crimping, Size, Design, etc;
3.Deeply failure analysis for typical cases by material, craft, application and FA simulation. Find root cause and avoid repeated quality issue;
4.Based on failure analysis and submit Paper;
5.Submit Innovation ideas based on testing, failure analysis and application;
6.Daily FA Lab running: Sample management, Lab quality system, 5S, EHS, LEAN;

1.Familiar  Polymer material analysis method, operation main analysis instruments: SEM/EDX, FTIR, DSC, TGA, FIB,melt index, Physics&Chemistry, Optical microscope; 
2.Familiar  Metal material analysis method, operation main analysis instruments: SEM/EDX, Hardness, Cross section, metallographic,  etc;
3.Familiar other comprehensive failure analysis method on connector: Electrical, Mechanical, Environment, Lifetime, Reliability;
4.Familiar Industry CT nondestructive test and analysis;
5.Familiar cross section test and analysis;
6.Have Lab working experience, familiar CNAS 17025 quality system;
7.It’s prefer to have software simulation and tooling madding working experience;
