Job Overview

The DDN Global Supply Chain team is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to serve as the key liaison between the Digital Data Networks (DDN) Business Unit and the manufacturing sites in Asia Pacific, including Dongguan (China), Penang (Malaysia), and Lamphun (Thailand).
Unlike traditional DC planning roles focused primarily on order execution, this position focuses on managing visibility, coordination, and execution of strategic projects shipped directly from Asia plants to end customers.
The successful candidate will provide end-to-end visibility of major customer programs, demand trends, supply constraints, production readiness, and delivery risks. This role will act as the eyes and ears of the Global Supply Chain team within the manufacturing site, ensuring proactive communication and alignment between Customer Care, Sales, Plant Planning, Operations, Procurement, and Business Unit leadership.

 

Job Requirements

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Strategic projects Visibility & Coordination
    •    Serve as the primary focal point for key factory-direct customer programs and strategic projects.
    •    Maintain comprehensive visibility of customer demand, order status, production schedules, capacity commitments, and delivery milestones.
    •    Consolidate and communicate project status updates, risks, bottlenecks, and recovery plans to BU Supply Chain leadership.
    •    Develop and maintain project tracking dashboards and management reports.
    Supply & Demand Management
    •    Monitor customer demand signals and compare against factory supply plans.
    •    Identify potential shortages, capacity constraints, material risks, and production bottlenecks before customer commitments are impacted.
    •    Challenge assumptions and escalate gaps proactively.
    •    Coordinate mitigation plans across Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Logistics teams.
    Production & Capacity Visibility
    •    Participate in plant planning reviews, production meetings, and project reviews.
    •    Maintain visibility on: 
    o    Production ramp-ups
    o    Capacity expansion projects
    o    Critical material shortages
    o    NPI and customer qualification activities
    o    Recovery plans for major supply constraints
    •    Translate complex factory planning information into concise business updates for BU leadership.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration
    •    Build strong partnerships with: 
    o    Factory Planning
    o    Master Scheduling
    o    Customer Care
    o    Sales
    o    Procurement
    o    Project Management
    o    Engineering
    •    Facilitate alignment between customer expectations and factory execution plans.
    •    Drive accountability and follow-up on action items across functions.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Education
    •    Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or related field.
    Experience
    •    5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Materials Planning, Customer Operations, or Manufacturing Operations.
    •    Experience working within a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
    •    Experience supporting large customer programs or project-based business is preferred.
    Technical Skills
    •    SAP 
    •    Power BI or other reporting tools

    •    Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
