Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

What your background should look like:

Main responsibility
Purchase Order Management:
- Run MRP and review MRP result 
- Release purchase order and forecast to inter co/outside suppliers
- Track Purchase order confirmation and follow up on Time delivery with supplier
- Reschedule in/out purchase orders, to cope with updated customer demand, insure on time delivery and optimal inventory level.
- Manage allocation among customers for critical parts if necessary
- Track inbound transportation and coordinate with logistics on customs clearance
Demand Management:
- co-ordinate/liaise with Sales Team to verify customer demand for material planning
- Follow up demand ramp on/down parts with Sales team 
On Time Delivery:
-Insure On time delivery to customer to meet DSCD KPI
Inventory Management:
- Inventory control, keep health inventory level
- Regular adjust safety stock based on customer demand, supplier delivery status and capacity
- Dead stock and slow moving control, EOP process follow up with Sales
Logistic Cost Management:
Avoid premium freight and optimize different ship mode(Ocean/Rail/Truck/Air) for cost saving
Education, Technical Qualification & Experience
1) Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
2) Fresh graduates or 1 years working experience in material planning
3) Computer skills: Excel Skill, MS Outlook
4) Language: Mandarin, English
5) Technical Skill: Good at data analysis and problem solving skill

2) Good planning skill and time management. Strong communication skill and good team player
