SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT ANALYST III
Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Supplier Development Teams find and develop suppliers to support the strategic sourcing organization in driving incremental performance in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They teach new suppliers on how to work with TE (portal access, e-procurement tool usage, TE procedures, etc.). They extend TE Operational Advantage into the supply base to generate continuous improvement in the extended value stream, deliver incremental improvements through supplier development lead projects and achieve improvement targets specific for supplier development. They also help drive selection and development of the best total cost supply option in the region where the commodity or service is consumed. They keep abreast of emerging market options and inform the broader procurement organization of trends and new supply options.
Job Scope
The role incumbent is responsible for coordinate the AP area LCC project related all activity for TE AUTO Global plant.
▪ Molding Tool design concept review
(Review supplier design if it is followed TE Spec)
▪ Project tracking
(Track the total project development until tool transfer)
▪ Quality side support
(On site tool checking, Quality complain handling)
▪ Supplier development
(CoE Opportunity, Lessons Learning training, TE New spec training)
Responsibilities
Technical support
Align with TE each region Tool design engineer, review supplier tool design concept
Create ideas and innovation for new concepts which are fully flexible, scalable, digital and requires minimized capex and lead time.
Molding process analysis
Supplier training concerning specific TE requirements and specifications.
Total tool project tracking
Closely working with TE Global PM and align all activities during the tool development
CoE project support as Molding cycle time improvement, Cost reduction concept, Spec summary
Process improvements internal and cross department / business unit
Tool shop Process Audits – Tracking Action plans
Supplier quality problem solving by using the quality tools as 8D.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Engineering and high degree is plus
5+ years working experience and at least 2 years in the Automotive industry
Project management skill
Engineering background as Tool designer or Molding process engineer
Well know about quality control tool
Strong understanding of business unit products
Solid knowledge in the Molding, Stamping die and Connector product
Enough knowledge in the structure of Plastic and Stamping die
Willing to travel and work with the suppliers and peers with different cultural background
