Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.

What your background should look like:

Job Summary:
Asia-Pacific strategic sourcing analyst is considered the corporate expert for the assigned commodities and leads the development and implementation of the regional commodity strategy in collaboration with the global and regional commodity strategy owner to realize established goals and objectives on tactical and transactional levels.
Responsibility:
1. Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
Lead supplier selection and negotiation for assigned commodities. 
Develop and maintain a robust supplier database, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement improvement plans.
Lead supplier rationalization, add/reduce supplier
2. Procurement Process Execution
Responsible for managing RFX processes, negotiating contracts including their terms and conditions, and working in alignment with the regional commodity leader and the global commodity director, based on the global strategy, through collaboration with the corporate function teams and cross-business units.
3. Cost Optimization & Market Analysis
Analyze market trends, benchmark pricing, and implement cost-saving strategies for recurring purchases.
Monitor budget adherence and provide cost reports to stakeholders .
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
Resolve supply chain issues and escalate critical risks proactively.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above
Experience: 
5+ years’ experience in sourcing area.
Experience in marketing, travel, or corporate services. 
Experience with HR-related commodities is a plus.
Skills:
Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management capabilities.
Knowledge of regional and global supplier base for relevant commodities.
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Proficiency in ERP system and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
