•    Model-Based Definition (MBD) Support: Assist the design team in the implementation of MBD methodologies, ensuring accurate, clear, and efficient communication of design data throughout the product lifecycle.
•    Creo CAD Software Support: Provide support to the design team by utilizing Creo CAD software to assist with modeling and preparing complex components and assemblies, such as plastic injection molded parts, die-cast components, sheet metal, and crimped parts.
•    GD&T Tolerance Support: Aid in applying GD&T principles to product designs, ensuring that tolerances meet functional and manufacturing standards.
•    Automation of Tolerance Calculations: Support the design team in automating tolerance analysis using 3DCS to improve product quality, reduce iteration times, and increase process efficiency.
•    Digital Inspection Assistance: Support quality control efforts through the use of CT-Scan and Volume Graphics for non-destructive testing and digital inspection of prototypes and products.
•    Quality Inspections & Process Validation: Collaborate with the design and quality teams to ensure rigorous testing and validation of product designs through detailed quality inspections and process monitoring.
•    Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, manufacturing, quality control, and engineering teams to provide guidance on product manufacturability and optimization.
•    Experience with TE Connectivity Products: Assist in supporting product designs tailored for TE Connectivity, applying your understanding of its product portfolio to enhance design efficiency and manufacturability.
•    Manufacturing Process Expertise: Support the design team in optimizing products for injection molding, die casting, sheet metal, and crimping processes.
•    Continuous Improvement: Help identify areas for continuous improvement in the development and optimization processes, contributing to the overall enhancement of product quality and performance.

Qualifications:
•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
•    Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product development support, with a strong background in mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
•    Proficiency in Creo CAD Software: Solid experience in using Creo to assist in designing, modeling, and analyzing components and assemblies.
•    Strong Knowledge of GD&T: Experience supporting GD&T applications for design and tolerance analysis.
•    Automation Experience: Familiarity with using tools like 3DCS for tolerance automation and analysis.
•    Digital Inspection Technologies: Practical knowledge of CT-Scan, Volume Graphics, and other digital inspection tools for non-destructive testing.
•    Manufacturing Process Knowledge: Experience or strong understanding of injection molding, die casting, sheet metal, and crimping processes.
•    Quality Assurance Understanding: Ability to assist in ensuring product designs meet quality standards and perform effectively in real-world applications.
