Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.
What your background should look like:

Follow and maintain TE’s quality policies and systems; conduct quality assurance activities with the objective of ensuring TE's product quality meet customers' standard within TE's quality systems, policies, procedures, and relevant local regulations. Good communication between customer and TE internal, provide fast response and professional quality problem solving to enhance customer satisfaction and better support business growth.


1.Active management of customer 0km and field claim 
1.1 Claim handling process owner
1.2 Register customer complaint in system and follow up
1.3 Lead containment action
1.4 Internal 8D evaluation
1.5 External 8D release and report to customer

2.General quality topics coordination (internal & external)
2.1 Coordinate Training/Meeting/Audit customer requested
2.2 Quality contract review and negotiation involvement with customer
2.3 Quality alert coordination between source and customer
2.4 Coordinate quality documents requested by customer (PPAP...)
2.5 Customer visit

3.Quality data analysis and reporting. Make processes measurable, report in customer satisfaction, claims, warranty, follow up the gap closure in a regular manner.
4.TE plant new project involvement and safe launch support. Support new project launching.
5.Customer quality related process/procedure optimization,evaluate and coordinate internal improvement.
6.Additional task instructed by supervisor.


1.Customer quality related experience for 5-8 years.
2.Bachelor Degree in Electric/Electronic & Mechanical or equivalent.
3.Fluent English (Written and Spoken).
4.Automotive industry experience is a must, plastics parts experience is preferred.
5.Structured approach, such as Six Sigma, Red X etc.
6.Good command of MS office tool, Minitab and SAP.
7.30% domestic travels required.
