SR MGR STRATEGIC SOURCING
Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.
- Lead and develop a global team of strategic sourcing, supplier development and new product design sourcing talent
- Establish and drive global sourcing strategy for product lines and commodities
- Lead the development of a roadmap for make-vs-buy decisions globally with cross functional team
- Global alignment and responsibility for all relevant KPIs including productivity, delivery, quality, and other operational targets
- Effective cross-functional partnership to ensure new products coming to market through our project management processes achieve project timing and cost target, support engineering in new product development
- Manage resources in conjunction with supply chain organization to ensure global support for both strategic and tactical buying activities
- Own continuous improvement in the function

- Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degree is a plus
