Job Overview

Job Purpose

Act as the end-to-end supply chain leader for key customers especially for the key programs running with customers, bridging customer requirements, collaborating with key stakeholders to drive operation actions to secure supply. Improve the performance, close gap vs customer requirement.

Key Responsibilities


1. Collaborative planning with customer
- Partner with Customer Program Team and Sales to understand demand, milestones, and risks
- Define the forecast forecast with team and update in the system by demand planning team. - Translate requirements into supply chain plans and execution roadmap
- Act as single point of contact for supply status and escalation

2. End-to-End Supply Visibility & Gap Management
- Consolidate supply status across plants, procurement, and inventory
- Identify risks such as capacity constraints and shortages
- Lead cross-functional actions to close supply gaps

3. Capacity Planning & Decision Support
- Work with PM and operations to evaluate capacity constraints
- Support decisions on capacity, footprint, and trade-offs

4. Execution Drive Across Functions
- Drive procurement, manufacturing, and logistics alignment
- Ensure delivery performance and customer satisfaction

5. Escalation & Governance
- Lead supply escalations and enable fast decision making
- Establish Monthly S&OP  and reporting cadence with customer

6. Continuous Improvement
- Track KPIs such as OTD, inventory, and supply gap closure
- Drive planning and execution improvements

Leadership Scope

Lead cross-functional virtual teams across supply planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics. Act as business partner to Sales, CPM, and PM.

 Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in:
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Business Administration
    • or related field

 Experience

  • 8–10 years of experience in supply chain, planning, or operations
  • Strong end-to-end supply chain management understanding, including:
    • demand & supply planning
    • procurement / manufacturing coordination
    • inventory & logistics
  • Experience in cross-functional supply chain roles (planning, procurement, plant interface)
  • Project management experience preferred, especially in:
    • customer programs
    • NPI / ramp / supply recovery

 


Exposure & Mindset

  • Experience working in international companies or global environments
  • Good understanding of Western business culture and communication style
  • Comfortable working across regions, time zones, and cross-cultural teams

 

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Masters with 10 or more years of experience; or PhD level with 6 or more years of experience; or local equivalent
