Role Definition and Purpose
• Designs, develops, and oversees EHS programs and procedures across the Asia Pacific region, covering multiple functional and operational areas.
• The Senior Manager, EH&S will lead Health and Safety efforts across the Asia Pacific region. This role partners with regional Business Unit (BU) Health and Safety teams and leadership to drive a strong culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement.
• In addition, the role serves as the Health and Safety Lead for the China Operations (CHOPs) network, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and compliance with local regulatory requirements.

• Establish a consistent and effective EH&S governance framework across APAC
• Drive reduction of high-risk exposures and serious incidents
• Ensure regulatory compliance across diverse jurisdictions
• Build strong EH&S capabilities within site and BU teams
Responsibilities
• Lead and drive Health and Safety strategy, programs, and initiatives across the Asia Pacific region.
• Partner with regional BU Health and Safety teams and business leadership to strengthen a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary Health and Safety lead for the China Operations (CHOPs) network, ensuring effective implementation of corporate standards and compliance with local regulations.
• Provide leadership oversight, guidance, and governance to site-level teams, ensuring consistent execution of EHS programs and continuous improvement of operational practices.
• Establish and enhance risk management and incident prevention processes, including identification of gaps, implementation of corrective actions, and strengthening of critical risk controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate EHS considerations into business operations, strategic decisions, and day-to-day activities.
• Support strategic decision-making by providing EHS expertise and resolving complex or escalated issues requiring cross-functional coordination.
• Monitor compliance with EHS procedures and regulatory requirements, ensuring effective implementation and accountability across functional areas.

What your background should look like
Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Masters with 10 or more years of experience; or PhD level with 6 or more years of experience; or local equivalent
