Asia Digital Business Lead (Senior Manager)

Job Description
TE Connectivity is looking for an Asia Digital Business Lead to be responsible for managing our ecommerce program in Asia with key focus developing and launching the China digital commerce program, business unit enablement, and managing sales and marketing platforms in Asia. This leader will be responsible for collaborating with key regional and functional leaders to align commerce strategy with business goals. In addition to the above, this leader will also be responsible for collaborating with external vendors and working with the global user experience research team to support regional research efforts.
Priority focus for the role would be to launch the commerce program in China and support customer acquisition in China.  The Asia Digital Business Lead manages commerce marketplace operations, including managing external partners. He / She will also contribute in providing input to the center team on digital self-serve capabilities for customers. The role will be responsible for senior level communication in the region and drive business unit adoption along with the center digital team.  Asia Digital Business leader will also define the RACI for extended team members.
Key responsibilities:
• Overall ownership for Asia digital program, including strategy, market/competitive and customer research, capability planning, communications, business process management (tax, payment, trade compliance, etc..), executive communication and building consensus.
• Own definition of Asia digital commerce strategy and implementation.
• Responsible for communication and collaboration with key regional and functional leaders to align commerce strategy with business goals.
• Ensure alignment with center team in global headquarters on strategy, functional requirements, schedule, and budget.
• Create and manage APAC digital ecosystem partnerships that provide value to customers and in return influence choice and drive demand.

What your background should look like:

• 5-10 years strong experience of defining digital strategy and capabilities rooted in local market insights.
• Successful track record of operating an ecommerce program in China, preferably for an industrial or b2b product company.
• Ability to work cross functionally in a matrixed global organization.
• Program management, communication and coalition building skills.
• Proficient verbal and written Mandarin and English language skills. 
Position will report to Director Digital Strategy based in US.
