I. Position Overview
The Senior Field Application Engineer (FAE) is responsible for providing component and system-level interconnect solution support and design expertise to key customers, including server, switch, and rack-level data center equipment manufacturers.
As the primary technical interface to customers, this role will deeply engage in the full product development lifecycle—from concept definition to production—driving successful project execution and supporting sustainable business growth.

II. Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Technical Support & Project Execution
•    Serve as the primary technical interface to key OEM/ODM customers, supporting interconnect solution selection and application during the product design phase
•    Engage throughout the full project lifecycle, including requirement analysis, solution definition, sample introduction, and mass production support
•    Lead and drive resolution of critical technical issues across design, validation, and manufacturing phases

2. Product Application & System Solution Design
•    Provide component and system-level interconnect solutions for server, switch, and data center applications (including power, high-speed connectors, cables, and backplane solutions)
•    Support component system-level performance optimization, including signal integrity and mechanical/structural considerations

3. Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Delivery
•    Work closely with internal teams including Product Management, R&D, Quality, and Sales to translate customer requirements into effective product and solution offerings
•    Coordinate with global resources to improve project responsiveness and delivery efficiency

4. Technical Promotion & Business Development
•    Promote key products and solutions to customers, enhancing technical engagement and market influence
•    Proactively identify new business opportunities and support sales in achieving revenue targets

5. Market Insight & Technology Foresight
•    Track technology trends in data centers, AI servers, and high-speed interconnect technologies
•    Provide market and application insights to support product roadmap development and optimization

III. Qualifications
1. Education
•    Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Automation, or related fields

2. Experience
•    At least 5 years of relevant experience (e.g., connector product development, FAE, hardware design, SI engineering, etc.)
•    Experience in servers, switches, data centers, or telecom equipment industries is preferred
•    Experience supporting OEM/ODM customers is highly desirable

3. Technical Skills
•    Familiar with interconnect technologies, including connectors, cable assemblies, and backplane systems (product development experience is a plus)
•    Strong knowledge of high-speed signal design (PCIe, SerDes, Ethernet, etc.)
•    Basic understanding of signal integrity (SI); simulation experience is a plus
•    Good understanding of server and data center architectures (CPU, GPU, storage, networking)
