Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

What your background should look like:

Responsibilities:
•Lead and facilitate the APAC S&OP process.
•Execute the monthly APAC S&OP meetings, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory management etc. 
•Lead country level, regional review meetings and report to global executive review meetings. Ensure that the S&OP meetings at all levels are at a proper level of detail to ensure engagement and support decision making.
•Ensure active coordination and partnership with sales team, plant teams, supply chain teams in APAC.
•Proficiency in engaging and influencing functional leaders, stakeholders etc to drive building up a strong S&OP network and structure regionally. 
•Communicate, influence and interact locally and regionally with broad functional areas (sales, PM, supply chain, finance and operations) to develop and execute plans to achieve Automotive business target.
•Leverages data & analytics group as needed to provide greater visibility in overall capacities and constraints.
•Develop and enhance each sub-process/meetings of APAC S&OP, including but not limited to forecasting/planning processes etc..
•Define metrics and set targets, drive systematic process improvement to in line with global best practices.  
Qualifications:
•Bachelor degree and above in majors of supply chain management. S&OP experience is expected.
•Minimum 10 years relevant S&OP, planning experience, people management experience is a plus.
•Strong collaborative leadership style is expected.
•APICS – Supply Chain Management CPIM/CSCP or equivalent.
•Demonstrate broad knowledge and experience in SAP and IBP.
•Rich experience in managing business in a complex global matrix environment
•Excellent organizational and communication skills.
•Strong analytical skills.
