Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets.

Job description/profile

Take care of (understand) assigned product line in AP region, know the market/customer and find the way to expand or protect the business of assigned product line. Work together with every functional teams not only within ICT but also across BU such as Sales, Engineering, Quality, Operation and Finance or create a team to work for the task. PM role is not one, PM is able to manage the product, lead the business and give a support for every functions.
    Assigned product managing
-    Visit manufacturing plant or vendor
-    Monitor the tool capacity, condition or quality to full fill demand forecast (expand, replace or repair the tool)
-    Understand the supply chain and find also execute product cost improvement plan/action
    Business expansion
-    Visit customer with sales team or join/arrange exhibition to promote the products
-    Confirm demand forecast (or vehicle volume forecast)
-    Deliver product information to customer as well as TE internal Sales team
-    Research the market/customer also application/regulation trend and find opportunity for new business
-    Develop new product for new business
-    Create 5year strategic business plan, Road-map
    Pricing strategy
-    Coordinate with Pricing team
-    Recognize the supply chain (delivery channel) as well as market/customer price and control the price in each region/customer
-    Understand cost structure of the product and improve low margin products

What your background should look like:

 Requirement bases

-    Able to use PPT, Excel file, Word file for analyzing or reporting
-    English skills for communication mandatory
-    Work experience available more than 2years in company
-    Prefer to have work experience of electrical components or transportation (passenger car or 2wheeler) market
