PRODUCT ENGINEER II

Job Overview

• Work with mechanical engineer and SW engineer to develop new product, support on all phases of the development process, from concept, design, through production release for new products.
• Interact with customers, vendors, manufacturing, marketing and sales personnel, and other engineering functions as required to support product development.
• Determine specifications, perform engineering analysis, create preliminary designs, coordinate and support prototype and pre-production fabrication and testing.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Execute technical documentation to fully detail design drawings and requirements for production.
• Support sourcing and validating of alternate components due to supply chain shortages
• Ability to work on-site at Shanghai office/lab

What your background should look like:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical and Computer Engineering

• From 3 to 5 years of engineering experience focused on industrial control system design.
• Experience in the development of industrial machine controls

Demonstrate proficiency with 2D AutoCAD

• Strong communication skills to present concepts to team members and management, while defending your decisions and selling your ideas for the successful implementation of new products and processes.

• Propensity for learning new skills and improving personal development.
• Possess a strong mechanical aptitude
• Must be a self-managed team player with superior time management skills
