Job Requirements

JOB SUMMARY

• Drive engineering team competency development and succession plan across global Org.
• Support Merger and Acquisition, integration of new business (and new products) as engineering representative.
• Monitor continuous improvement opportunities that can become part of the engineering standard.
• Subject matter expert for the leading technology from the initial analysis through prototype fabrication & evaluation, and production verification testing.
• Tackle challenging design problems and utilize simulation tools to guide complex designs toward success.
• Drive innovation of Electric/Electronic/Programming products.
• Sponsor AI and AI tools

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Academic

• Master’s degree or above in Mechanical / Production Engineering/Mechatronics/Automation
• Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.

Experience

• 15+ years relevant working experience in a research/engineering environment
• Good knowledge of Electric/Electronic/Programming products.
• Preferred with experience in industry field
• Experience in project leadership, especially as it applies across design, development & manufacturing teams.

Skills

• A solid understanding of working principles and implementation of connector technology, electromagnetic theory and electrical circuit behavior.
• Familiar with Engineering practices, terminology and tolerances associated with product design.
• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret simulation and lab data to identify issues and provide solutions to fix identified problems. 
• The ability to make data-driven decisions based upon statistical analysis, designed experiments and capability studies.
• Self-motivation and team player with good communication & presentation in English.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Agility to technology mega trend

Creating actionable recommendations based upon design reviews and simulation results.

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Masters degree with 10 or more years of experience; or PhD level with 6 or more years of experience; or local equivalent
