Job Overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and leading a regional sales strategy to drive maximum revenue growth (via direct and indirect sales), account penetration and customer satisfaction for all accounts within their region. The Sales Manager may have Account managers and/or Field Application Engineers as direct or indirect reports. Responsible for promoting TE technology and position TE for long-term growth, Communicate VOC to internal stakeholders, managing programs from concept to completion, and setting strategic vision of the account to key stakeholders and direct reports

Strategic Planning 20%
Drive Building Automation relevant focus applications GTM strategy plan / execution, especially in LED outdoor lighting, Elevator / Escalator, HVAC, etc..
Clear break down the SWOT, Potential / Value proposition, cross team alignment with internal / external stakeholders for all mapping / action priorities.
Define leading customers in each focus applications, drive and support KAMs to develop meaningful customer account strategy, sponsorship, growth pipeline in key portfolios.
Understanding / Summary market trends and directions, drive leading customer, top competitor status update in quarterly base
Co-work with internal stakeholders for good alignment cross global / regional, cross functional co-work to drive the problem solving in focus applications, leading customers.

Execution / Growth 30%
Identify annual growth plan, customer / sales mapping and assignment, Objective and priorities set up / regular review cadence and tear down actions into each level
Define KPIs for building automation team / sales individual level with regional sales leader together, driving and optimize regular performance management process such as: demand / forecast process, account planning process, order fulfill and AR collecting, pipeline / conversion process, etc.
Sales supporting, coaching for problem solving, key customer development, BU distributor management and relevant risk management, negotiation, critical thing supports.
Global customer accounts linkage with Europe, Japan, Amer customers and sales connection internal / external both, to align customer decisions.

Customer Experience 30%
Keep or further improving leading customer relationship, strong customer focus culture development, strong customer sponsorship for leading customers.
Support for critical customer problem solving, coaching and develop sales to handle customer requirement, coaching for culture improving, internal ECE / escalations, etc..
Drive customer VOC and following correction actions in focus areas
Strong influence and cross team communication / exposure
Strong action oriented to push localization service and fast response

Talent Management 20%
Tier 1 / Tier 2 level sales competency assessment and annual development plan / execution, expertise developing to align to Industrial key strategic drivers such as Focus applications, Electrical, Grow in China.
Strong succession / talents pipeline development
Open / Fair / challenge for growth culture development
Supports I&D target achievement
