Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Job responsibility:
1. Develop and execute region-wide strategies to effectively manage and optimize the supply base.
2. Implement strategies and identify risk and opportunities within Facilities and Utilities commodities, introduce new technologies and best practices from the market
3. Responsible for targets of cost savings, supply base consolidation, efficiency and compliance improvements
4. Drive footprint projects in Southeast Asia in terms of cost, timing and compliance.
5. Lead country buyers in project and policy deployment

Requirements:
1.    Demonstrated procurement competencies (business acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy, project management) and capability to work independently on multiple assignments.
2.    Commodity manager experience of managing facility procurement in manufacturing companies with multiple locations.
3.    Minimal 5 years experience in facility commodity.
4.    Can-do attitude, willing to make changes and innovations.
5.    Strong ability to get consensus among function leaders and obtain the best solutions for TE.
6.    English and mandarin are required
