MGR I MATERIALS PLANNING

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.

 

Responsibilities:
-This position reports directly to the supply chain SR. manager, he/she will manage the country’s S&OP process with cross function teams aiming to ensure S&OP five steps executed effectively
-Facilitate close loop S&OP process through product review to management review process, communicates key conclusions to stakeholders and performs follow-up of actions
-work with and coordinate S&OP sub function leaders to prepare, proceed and follow up sub function S&OP content/tasks well
-Defines and maintains key S&OP KPIs, incl. S&OP meeting attendance, function document preparation and quality, follow up action execution, etc. 
-Continuously review the S&OP process to ensure it suits business needs and is up to date with best practices
-Data analysis to provide inputs on developing product/demand/supply planning strategies on existing products, new products and product phase-outs.
-interface and present in AP and global SOP process as China S&OP representative 
-lead SCM process optimization and innovation to be more effective and efficient

What your background should look like:

Requirements: 
-Good/expert understanding of S&OP process and best practices
-Proven leadership skills and strong communication skills to collaborate with all levels of management and peers
-Strong data analytical skills, strategic understanding and logic thinking
-At least 5 years SCM working experience, including S&OP facilitation experience.
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix organization while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
-Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including strong working knowledge of Excel and PPT.
-Excellent English skill both oral and writing, International working experience is plus
