Consumer appliance applications change at an exponential pace and the TE Connectivity Appliances business is at the heart of a continuously expanding connected life inside the home. The Manager, Digital Marketing and Social Media role will be a core member of the Marketing team for the TE Connectivity Appliances Business Unit, part of the Communication Solutions segment.


This position reports to the Head of Global Marketing for the Appliances Business Unit and is responsible for defining, managing, and executing the digital marketing strategy across key platforms, media and technology. This includes account-based marketing, lead generation process, TE.com, SEM, SEO, display, social, and email. The role will ensure a best-in-class customer experience and effective digital programs that generate awareness, engagement, leads and ultimately business growth. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leading digital marketing, driving successful digital campaigns, displaying compelling content and have a keen eye for technical excellence. She/he/they will be self-directed and able to flawlessly execute on a broad spectrum of digital projects, while partnering with multiple stakeholders globally.



  • Develop the global contact and lead nurture strategy for the business by leveraging marketing automation and behavior-based triggers.
  • Partner with the BU marketing team to create and manage effective integrated – and data driven – marketing campaigns across digital and social channels, including managing day-to-day campaign adjustments to continuously improve targeting and campaign performance.
  • Partner with the Segment Digital Marketing and Digital Center of Excellence team to leverage best-in-class provide strategic direction, execution, and optimization across all digital channels and tactics – SEO, SEM, email, social, and web.
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to develop the digital and account-based marketing strategy
  • Make recommendations for technology and digital capabilities that will enable the business unit to deliver a highly personalized customer experience across all channels
  • Develop paid and organic search strategy that will increase findability, conduct keyword research and manage process to optimize content
  • Own the Appliances website pages, defining and executing SEO-rich content, AEM page development, interlinking, page tagging, taxonomy, and more for optimal findability, usability and experience.
  • Develop a digital learning agenda by conducting A/B and multivariate testing and implementing other test and learn methodologies
  • Define KPIs and regularly report on digital marketing performance, leveraging data from multiple sources (Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, Tableau, Sprinklr, Google, etc.) and providing recommendations for strategic planning, prioritization and budget spend.
  • Monitor digital trends and challenge existing approaches to innovate and drive continuous improvement and more personalized customer experiences across channels.
  • Manage external and internal service providers and agencies.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing or related field; Advanced degree a plus.
  • At least 5-7 years of B2B digital marketing. Global experience preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with experience and understanding of analytics that drive market strategy and campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience with the full marketing mix across paid, owned, and earned channels
  • Experience with CRM, MAP, and ABM platforms.
  • Advanced Google AdWords, Tag Manager, Facebook Business Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager knowledge and experience.
  • Good knowledge of copy that converts through social, email and website content (titles, CTAs)
  • Proficient in Adobe marketing tools, experience with content publishing, social media posting, targeting and listening (AEM, Adobe Analytics, Sprinklr), SEO/search (SEMrush, Google AdWords), ABM, CRM and Sales and Marketing automation systems (Eloqua, Salesforce.com, Tableau), and proficient in MS Office. Google Ads certification a plus.
  • An expert communicator with the ability to articulate business strategies and technical concepts fluently verbally and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills with the ability to lead virtual teams containing senior colleagues
  • Strong project management skills

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Digital Marketing & Social Media teams develop and manage all digital marketing campaigns, as well as digital properties to deliver a superior user experience, driving revenue potential and brand relevance by working with TE’s business unit marketing teams to curate and create content that helps build TE’s social media channels and across TE’s digital marketing teams for best practice sharing and te.com new function deployments. They design and maintain relevant portions of TE.com, external data activities and potential partner sites; monitor, evaluate and integrate digital programs to maintain the best user experience on TE.com for business units. They manage digital campaigns to align with the efforts of integrated marketing campaigns and strategies and drive content integration strategies and optimization and manage TE’s social media authoring/monitoring platform. The teams are also responsible for online database management including email communication plan, database selection, expansion and maintenance. Team members have experience with content publishing, CRM, various tools and content management suites (i.e. Adobe), sales and marketing automation systems (Eloqua, SalesForce.com), Microsoft Office and Adobe marketing tools; as well as experience with brand reputation management, and/or brand protection.
