MGR COMMERCIAL/PM FINANCE
Job Overview:
TE Connectivity's Product Finance teams work closely with both Product Management and Project Management business partners to drive value in our Product Portfolio and go to market strategies. The Manager PM Finance role will support both a product-aligned vertical inside of the Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit across its global footprint.
Job Responsibilities:
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Financial Business Partner for Product aligned work teams (Product Management and Project Management). Global scope.
• Development of new product financials and investment business cases. PAC member.
• Management of Capital Expense requests and budgeting.
• Cadence leader of regular portfolio-focused financial reviews.
• Support team to maintain dashboards and reports for business partners.
• Sales & Margin forecasting for Commit Forecasts. Margin mix reporting and analysis.
• Annual Recost process member.
• Manage a team of 2 direct reports. Team capabilities assessment and development.

What your background should look like:
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration
• MBA a plus
• 5+ years plus in progressive financial roles
• An understanding Manufacturing and S&OP processes, and the financial implications thereof.
• Experienced user of financial consolidation systems, ERP systems (SAP), spreadsheet analysis
• Ability to create pro forma or forecasted financial statements.
• Drill-down variance analysis to explain root-cause and the story behind the numbers.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, adapted for the intended audience. Able to tactfully highlight and defend positions in front of senior management.
• Ability to develop talent, and effectively coach and motivate financial analysts and others
