Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.

Responsibilities
Purchase Order Management:
- Run MRP and review MRP result 
- Release purchase order and forecast to inter-company suppliers/outside suppliers
- Track purchase order confirmation and follow up on time delivery with suppliers
- Reschedule purchase order to meet the latest customer demand
- Manage allocation among customers for critical parts if necessary
- Support on new project and localization projects.
Demand Management:
- Coordinate with sales team to verify customer demand.
On Time Delivery:
- Ensure on time delivery to customer to meet STR and STS
- Track inbound transportation and coordinate with logistics on customs clearance.
Inventory Management:
- Control inventory and catch the target on both inventory amount and inventory turns
- Adjust SS based on customer demand, supplier delivery status and capacity
- Reduce the slow moving and non-moving inventory. 
Logistic Cost Management:
- Avoid premium freight and optimize different ship mode (Ocean/Rail/Truck/Air) for cost saving.
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2) 2~3 years working experience in material planning
3) Computer skills: ERP, Excel Skill, MS Outlook
4) Language: Mandarin, English
5) Technical Skill: Good at data analysis and problem solving
