Job Requirements

PURPOSE
Analyze and solve production engineering and new project qualification issues with the objective of building models and driving designs, interpreting data and delivering insights, and using data to solve specific business problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Model Building & Business Implementation
(i)Design and develop data models for core business pain points of BU (e.g., production line capacity planning)
(ii) promote model launch and iteration (e.g., collaborate with technical teams to deploy models, monitor model performance and optimize) to ensure model value is converted into actual business results
In-depth Data Mining & Strategy Innovation
(i) Mine hidden business patterns in the operations data, propose data-driven innovation strategies, and support long-term business planning
(ii) Track cutting-edge data science technologies in the industry (e.g., machine leaning algorithm optimization, AI tool application), evaluate their applicability in BU business scenarios
Data Capability Empowerment
(i) Deliver model logic and data methodologies (e.g., how to interpret model results, how to break down business problems with data thinking) to operations team to improve the overall data application capabilities 
(ii) Formulate data modeling standards for operations (e.g., data annotation standards, model evaluation indicators) to ensure the scientific and reusability of model development and application

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree or above
Over 5+ years of relevant experience
Major in Statics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields
Familiar with databases, data extraction, model deployment tools 
1-3 years of Business unit level data modeling experience
Problem definition and modeling ability
Cross-team collaboration skills
Innovation & iterative thinking
