Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Marketing teams are responsible for broad marketing strategy and execution across all marketing and/or digital activities including integrated, digital, communications, product marketing, etc., for a business, region, country or corporate function by developing clear and compelling positioning and value propositions and go-to-market approaches for new product introductions. They are also responsible for brand portfolio management, aligning with corporate frameworks, including marketing plans for newly acquired brands and creative direction of all marketing communications, overseeing brand experience across all marketing and customer, sales and employee touch points. They develop and implement an integrated strategy for digital marketing, including the TE.com website and social media, digital advertising campaigns that lead the marketing community in accelerated adoption of emerging digital and content-centered marketing practices and lead development and delivery of best practice marketing communications by leveraging industry trends, competitive intelligence, customer insights and analysis in developing compelling marketing programs. 

What your background should look like:

The Strategic Marketing Planning & Research Analyst owns market driven insights and how to apply it to process, strategy and growth objectives. Capabilities include trend analysis, customer/market strategy and segmentation in partnership with management, sales, PM and strategy teams. The incumbent will provide in-depth market analysis and the development of marketing strategies and recommendations designed to drive business impact. The Strategic Marketing Data & Insights Analyst will implement and manage a robust and disciplined approach for gathering customer insights, inputting to marketing plan, identifying best practices, and develop a disciplined approach for measuring and monitoring key KPI’s.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Research 
•    Implement market research, mechanisms to capture voice of customer. Communicate out findings and best practices to relevant stakeholders.
Marketing Analysis 
•    Champion a market driven outlook and have a keen understanding of how to analyze and draw conclusions around market trends which include competition, customers, product projections and opportunities.
•    Lead to develop, maintain and update the market knowledge data regarding to trend, route to market and competition. 
•    Apply an integrated & disciplined approach and establish insight into: customer pathway analysis, customer segmentation and targeting 
•    Turn market insight into detailed marketing recommendations especially in long tail market penetration 
•    Translate quantitative and qualitative data including online and offline metrics and customer engagement into actionable initiatives that drive engagement and deepen relationships 
•    Manage creation and distribution of campaign dashboards to monitor and department goals and key KPI’s. Identify areas for growth and improvement.
•    Manage deployment and provide back end analysis of A/B and multivariate testing to improve customer experience, marketing effectiveness and profitability. 
•    Manage analysis, performance, placement and effectiveness of external marketing efforts including paid search, email, display, and new media.

Key Qualifications:
•    Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Science or Data Analytics. Master’s degree highly preferred.
•    Minimum of six (6) years marketing experience in a global business with a proven record of delivering results in a dynamic and competitive environment.
•    Background in marketing & consulting, strategy, and/or management finance
•    Understanding of how data and insight drive increased sales, revenues, market share, segmentation or creation of a new brand or position in the marketplace. Experience transforming data into actionable results, distilling trends and providing strategic direction.
•    Strong research and analytical skills with demonstrated examples of market assessment, recommendations and results.
•    Good communication skill and strong interpersonal skills
•    Highly proficiency in English. Solid presentation skills. Comfort at presenting findings to executive level audience.
•    Current in digital trends & platforms with experience in SEO, SEM, digital acquisition an advantage.
•    Experience in data analytical techniques and projects an advantage.
