Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
What your background should look like:

This position will support Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT) business units in Asia excluding Japan. 
Primary job duties include but are not limited to:
    Business partner for Commercial functions, sales, product management, pricing, customer care, etc., actively provide finance support to drive revenue growth and profit improvement
    Support annual Budget, Forecasting, month end closing, which includes creation, analysis and modeling of scenarios to ensure forecast accuracy in a dynamic business environment, analyze variance and drive improvement actions
    Support forecast and analytics around product line profitability and price erosion
    Partner with product management during annual strategic planning to assess long term impact of strategic wins 
    Drive improvements for product profitability, with an emphasis on negative margin parts
    Communicate with legal entity finance teams across Asia to ensure all journal entries and accruals are performed within the requirements of GAAP
    Develop deep understanding of key customers/OEMs and business activities; identify key drivers to help Sales Team meet KPIs
    Review customer payment terms, credit limits, and AR with accounting controls in compliance
    Analyze AR performance, including actual reporting and past due monitoring
    Monitor daily transactions related to CR, RMA, FOC requests
    Drive and support process improvements related to customer owned tooling (COT) and customer contributions to tooling

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration, Math/Statistics 
5+ years in FP&A or business analytics role
Fluent English
Able to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
Practical hands-on approach, and self-motivated
Continuous improvement sprit always seeks for better solution rather than follow existing process
Willing to take more responsibility, entrepreneur sprit
